Mrs. Creasey was born March 24, 1972, in Guilford County, to Richard S. Chapman and Janice Presswood Chapman. She was a graduate from University of North Carolina Greensboro, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta PI Sorority. Tricia taught at E. Lawson Brown Middle School where she was a very loving and strong teacher to many students who admired her over her years of teaching. They looked up to her they wanted to be just like her. They wanted her courage, her hope and her determination. She taught seventh grade science and social studies, but she also taught her students to fight the hardest battles and to never give up. The lessons she taught her students will never be forgotten. She was a member of the NCAE and Bethel Baptist Church of Denton. Mrs. Creasey was an active member of the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life of Davidson County. She was loved and admired by her community for her strength and courage in her fight against cancer. Mrs. Creasey and her family were greatly humbled by the support of their community when they were nominated and received a new home from Extreme Makeover Home Edition. She will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the community for all the support, love and prayers they received over the last few years. They were and are greatly appreciated.
