Trudy Canezaro Blanchard

A resident of Livonia, she died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at 5 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was retired from the Louisiana Department of Health and Human Resources as a clerical supervisor with 22 years of service. She was 41 and a native of Maringouin. Visiting at Niland's Funeral Home in Livonia on Sunday, Aug. 12, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Monday, Aug. 13, from 8 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Religious service at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Livonia on Monday at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. John Arun. Interment in St. Francis Cabrini cemetery. Survived by her husband of 19 years, Michael Todd Blanchard of Livonia; parents, Angelo and Margaret Roppolo Canezaro of Maringouin; mother-in-law, Helen Blanchard of Livonia; two sons, Dustin Joseph Blanchard and Kyle Matthew Blanchard, both of Livonia; sister, Kim Canezaro LaCombe of Livonia; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Davy and Wanda Canezaro and Roy Lane and Inger Canezaro, all of Livonia; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dennis and Trudy Canezaro, Bob and Donna Jerrie and John Carl Blanchard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father-in-law, Hubert "Rabbit" Blanchard. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Chad, Colby, Jordan, Jarret and Cody Canezaro, Trohn Blanchard and Jude LaCombe. Honorary pallbearer is her godchild, Mackie Canezaro. She was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. Special thanks to Dr. Christopher McCanless and his staff; Dr. Hinkleman and his staff, especially Tammy Asmus; the nursing staff on the oncology floor at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center; Donna Landry and staff of the outpatient section of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center; and also all the prayers and support from so many relatives and friends.
