Trudy TAIT Obituary
November 3, 1955 - November 14, 2012
Trudy Tait passed away after a short battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the age of 57 years. Trudy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of six years, George Parnell; children, Daniel (Heather) Ellis, Sara (Marla Makowski) Ellis, Jessica (Jason) Biglin, and Cameron (Kristen Mann) Parnell; grandchildren, Emma, Landon and Daylyn; mother Mildred Tait; siblings Tami (Curtis) Skanderup, of Brooks, AB, Troy (Debbie) Tait, of St. Albert, AB, and Trena (Jody Marchuk) Tait of Brooks, AB; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Norman Tait. Trudy was born in Hanna, AB and lived the majority of her life in Calgary. She worked for Scotia Bank as a financial advisor and had over 27 years of experience. Trudy also volunteered with the Rotary Club of Calgary and the International Avenue BRZ. She loved reading, traveling, golfing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held to honour Trudy at St. George's Anglican Church, 244 Templemont Drive N.E., Calgary on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dean Houghton officiating. Viewing will start prior to the Service at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, T2N 4N2. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.

I just found out about Trudy's passing. I will always think of her fondly. She was a great mentor to me while I worked at Scotiabank. She was also a special person to all. God bless

George and family, Please accept our sincere condolences. Trudy was one of our dearest friends and we will treasure the time that we had with her. We wish there was something that we could do to take away the gap that Trudy's passing will have, but I think that Trudy was one of a kind, and will not be able to be replaced in any way. I take great comfort in having had the opportunity to see her last Tuesday, and know that she was at peace with what was happening. Of course even then she was mostly concerned about others.
We will miss Trudy dearly.
