Tuan Lam Obituary

I have known Tuan for over 10 years. He was a good man and a dear friend of mine. His untimely passing comes as a complete shock to me and I am deeply saddened by his loss.
Tuan was a hard worker and earned his way through his success, overcoming so many obstacles. Despite the demands of practicing as an attorney, he was so full of life and always had a positive outlook. Tuan was also a good friend, someone who cared and was kind. I will always remember his smile and infectious laugh. To the Lam family, we send our deepest condolences and love for your loss. Bless Tuan's memory and the lives he touched. Tuan, we miss you and will always remember you. Nam Mo A Di Da Phat.

I've known Tuan since 1994, when I met him at Boalt Hall. He was a good friend then and remained so over the years. Tuan was so full of life that it's hard to believe he's gone.

i have known tuan for over 15 years, he used to visit me at my restaurant 7seas. i just learned of his passing and an in shock. tuan was a great guy and will be missed. my condolences go out to his family.

We first met in Vietnamese language class at Berkeley. Little did we know that we would remain friends for the 20 years that followed. Tuan was one of the most authentic people I have ever known and I still don't accept that he is gone. May I see you again one day, my friend. We still need to write that book! Until then.

After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we've shared before. RIP

Tuan Lam will be greatly missed. He touched so many lives in his different roles, but he was much more than just a boss, professor or attorney, Tuan was a Friend. May he be at peace.

He was a respected attorney scholar who gave his students knowledge of the law and the professional role model to inspire their success as future lawyers. I and others will miss his sage advice and wry sense of humor. RIP.
