Tyler Cunningham Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 6, 2021.
Tyler Matthew Cunningham, 37, of Granite Bay, passed away on December 6, 2021 in Anaheim, California. Tyler was born on March 30, 1984 in Fremont, California, to Mary and Steve Cunningham. He graduated from Granite Bay High School in 2002. Throughout high school Tyler succeeded in football and developing strong friendships with his peers. Tyler thrived from creating deep personal connections with people and was compassionate about giving back. His passion for changing lives called him to Uganda in his mid-twenties where he served local children and families. This trip fueled Tyler's intrinsic motivation to support those in need, which he continued to do throughout his life wherever he went. Tyler supported non-profit endeavors including Noble Heights, New Friends for Life, and any other opportunity to help others. This same passion also fueled his career. Although Tyler held a variety of jobs, he was always most passionate about personal training, fitness and health. Anyone who trained with Tyler knew they were in for challenges and laughs. Tyler is survived by his mother Mary, his father Steve, his three brothers Nick (Kelly), Scott (Lindsey), and Steven (Theresa), his beloved niece, Olivia, and nephews Oliver, Luca, Brody, Cameron, Hudson, and Ethan. Tyler's niece and nephews were the light in his life and they will cherish the memories with him forever. Tyler will be remembered for his charisma and deep passion for his family, friends, and all those around him. He will be profoundly missed by everyone, but his love will carry on through each of those who crossed his path. The service will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at the Redemption Church, 490 Nevada Street in Auburn, California. A Celebration of Life will take place the following day, December 17, 2021 from 11:00am-3:00pm at Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln, California.
