Vera L. Enter, 75, of Nicollet died Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Mankato Lutheran Home. Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Luke Myslik will officiate. Visitation will be 3 - 8 PM Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at church on Tuesday. Vera is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Bill Huber of Pemberton, Gayle and Randy Peterson of North Mankato, Norma and Jim Goettlicher of Mankato; sons and daughters-in-law, Bradley and Wanda Enter of Nicollet, Kevin and Beverly Enter of Nicollet; 13 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 11 step-great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Herb Volkman of Elysian; brothers and sisters-in-law, Noel and Margaret Quiram of Elysian, Kenneth Quiram of Le Center, Warren Quiram of Dillingham, Alaska, Roger and Judy Quiram of Carlton; sisters-in-law, Betty Hauck of Hubbert, Texas, and ScharLou Quiram of Pemberton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton Enter on January 12, 2000; brothers, Dennis and Dale Quiram; and by sisters-in-law, Rita and Mona Jo Quiram. Vera Lucille Quiram was born February 11, 1933 in Elysian Township, LeSueur County to Louis and Alma (Geisler) Quiram. She was united in marriage to Milton Enter on April 19, 1950 at the St. Peter "Bell" Lutheran Church in rural Elysian. After marriage they farmed in Grandby Township, Nicollet County their entire adult lives. Vera enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting and camping in her RV. She loved spending time with her family. Vera also made quilt tops with a ladies group from the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Elysian and they donated them to nursing homes and the homeless. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet and the Ladies Guild.
