Here's to you, Vern. Thank you for being an exceptional father-in-law and a genuine friend. Your wisdom and kindness have been a guiding light in my life. I will deeply miss our countless conversations that were always filled with joy, laughter, and your insightful perspectives. Whether we were discussing life's mysteries, sharing stories from our pasts, or simply enjoying each other's company, you always knew how to make every moment special. Your warmth and humor have left an indelible mark on my heart. RIP Vern, you will be profoundly missed but cherished forever in my memories.

A true one and only...if only I could find all of the pictures my parents have/had through the years of Vern. Shooting the finger in front of the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the National Cathedral, and many, many other well renowned places. Many great memories of my Godfather through the years. Rest well Johnny Velvet. Say hi to all of your friends on Argus for me. I know they are thrilled to have you back.

There are places within our hearts that can only be filled with memories. There are places in our souls that can only be healed by the gentle hands of time. May you find comfort knowing that my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. May you find peace knowing that there is one more angel in heaven.

Vern and Sally were our condo neighbors since 2017 at Givens Highland Farms. We will always remember his good nature and upbeat attitude towards life. His primary concern the past few years was caring for Sally and he did it 24/7 in total dedication to her circumstances. We will miss chatting with him as he daily passed by our residence walking Oliver to the dog park.

I will always treasure the values and morals he instilled in me and my brothers for the rest of my life. He is now in heaven with my Dad too and I know they are both smiling down on all of us, I love you Grandpa

I will always remember and cherish the many times I played golf with Vern and his son in law Don (my friend since high school).
