Veronica Redmond Obituary
CLINTON - Veronica Burback Redmond, 82, returned to her heavenly home on May 30, 2017. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God is what ultimately gave her peace in her last days.
Veronica was born to the late William and Marian Havener Burback on June 13, 1934 in Verona, NY. She was united in marriage to the late Gerry Redmond on July 9, 1953 and shared in a blessed union for 44 years.
Veronica will always be remembered for her beautifully extensive and pristine gardens. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family and baking goodies for all that crossed her threshold. Sharing her love and passion of food brought her such joy through the years.
Veronica is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Jim) Volo and Judy Keshler; five grandchildren, Jordan (Sonia) Keshler, Erica (Ciro) Raspante, Jenna Volo, Jeff Volo, and Jace (Kelly) Volo; one great-grandson, Ciro David Raspante; one sister, Irene Hinman; and a very special nephew, Craig Hinman. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, David Keshler; and several brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ferriero for his kind and sensitive care, along with the nurses on the third floor of the Allen-Calder unit.
In keeping with Veronica's wishes, services will be at the convenience of the family.
