Vickie Turley Obituary
We honor the life and spirit of Vickie Lynn Turley-a devoted mother, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Vickie was the proud mother of Michael Matesic (partner, Jennifer Collins), Matthew Sherwood, and Mark Matesic. She was the cherished daughter of Monica Turley and Richard Pennington, and the caring sister of Mary Kay Pennington-McGaughey and Robert Pennington. She was also a special aunt to Aidan McGaughey, Michael Pennington, and Betsy Pennington.
Vickie passed away on August 3, 2025, days before her 58th birthday, surrounded by her sons and loved ones. She faced her battle with lung cancer with extraordinary courage and grace, a reflection of the strength that defined her life. That same strength guided her through many personal challenges, an ongoing testament to her resilience and will to live fully for those she loved.
She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her family, many cousins, and close friends. Her strength, compassion, and resilience left a lasting impression on all who knew her. We wish her eternal peace and will carry her memory in our hearts-always.

I didn't ever get the chance to meet Vicki but sounds like amazing woman. She was loved very much by my daughter Jennifer collins and she will sadly be missed by all of us .
