Hans Schowalter

August 8, 2011

We offer our condolences and heartfelt sympathies to George, Lily, and the entire Batt family at this time of Victor's passing. I remember moving into this neighbourhood some twenty years ago and wondering who this stoic man staring at me from across the alley might be. A man of few words, whom I eventually came to know and appreciate, who shared gardening tips with me and kept an eye on our place when we were away, as neighbours do.
You are missed, Victor, a stabilizing presence in our neighbourhood and lives. sincerely Hans Schowalter, Deborah Kirkpatrick, and Family.
