Dr. Victor R. Gallo

Dr. Victor R. Gallo, age 87 of Concord passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 12, 2013 at Emerson Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Peggy Ann Fairhurst Gallo. Born in Marblehead on June 27, 1927 he was the son of the late Victor R. and Minna Rae (Burke) Gallo. Dr. Gallo graduated from the Massachusetts College of Optometry in 1963 and soon settled in Concord. He had a successful and respected Optometry practice in Concord and Leominster. He retired in 1997 Dr. Gallo was a member of the Corinthian Lodge A.F. & A.M., Concord earning his Master Mason Degree. He was also a member of The First Parish in Concord. A private Masonic service was held in the Concord Funeral Home. Burial was private in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.
