Victoria Barahona Flores, 84 of New Haven died peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Faustino Murillo. Victoria was born in San Buena Ventura, Honduras on December 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Benito Barahona and the late Teodora Flores, and had resided in New Haven for the past seventeen years. She is survived by five daughters, Lilian Rosales, Ingrid Murillo Dubon and her husband Arturo, and Maria Ester Murillo and her husband Eduardo Orellana of El Progreso, Honduras, and Sandra Murillo Galo and her husband Roberto, and Suyapa Murillo Feldmann of New Haven, five sons, Raul Arturo Rosales and his wife Ana, and Luís Gustavo Rosales and his wife Olga Herrera of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, José Rodolfo Murillo of New Haven, and David Roberto Murillo and his wife Oneida, and Omar Antonio Murillo of El Progreso, one sister, Maria Francisca Flores of Tegucigalpa, twenty eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Victoria's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services and burial will take place in El Progreso, Honduras at a later date. www.washingtonmeorialfh.com
