Victoria Elsie Sehnert February 1, 1919 - January 19, 2007 Victoria Elsie Sehnert was born in Wakefield, New Hampshire on February 1, 1919 to Louis C. Tessier and Lucy W. Pauliot Tessier. She was one of 15 brothers and sisters. After many years of medical problems, she passed in the early morning of January 19, 2007 from pneumonia. Known as "Vickie", she was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Oscar Corsaut, who died in England of battle wounds in 1945; and all of her siblings with the exception of her sisters, Betty Soucy of Rochester and Theresa Dumont of Somersworth. She is survived by her second husband, Paul J Sehnert, whom she married in 1950; and two sons, Ronald C. Sehnert and Mark J. Sehnert all of whom reside in Long Be ach, California. Her son, Ronald has a daughter, Lisa who is married to Tim Fischer and has two grandchildren, Jennea and Christian. Her son, Mark is married to Toni L. Bauerlein and has two daughters, Sarah and Rachel. Vickie attended St. Leo School in Gonic, New Hampshire and worked for Mayberry Shoe Inc. She met her first husband, Oscar while he was stationed at the nearby naval station. Following her husbands death, she continued to work to support her first child and met her second husband, Paul while he was attending the University of New Hampshire. She relocated to California in the summer of 1950. She remained in southern California for the remainder of her life, living in Thousand Oaks, Lancaster and following her husbands retirement, moved to Long Beach near her two sons. For over 25 years she served as a volunteer in hospitals in both Lancaster and Long Beach. Her sense of humor and congeniality made the people she met instant friends. She will be remembered and greatly missed by all who knew he r.
