Deepest condolences to Joan and Malenfant family. I grew up down the road from Vince and as a young boy spoke to Vince on a number of occasions mostly about his go cart that he and Snyder Hamelin road around the area. He was very easy to talk to and always very friendly. I was also shocked to hear of his tragic passing. Thoughts and prayers from all the Lapain family.

I was absolutely shocked and saddened by the news of Vince's passing. I have worked with Vince for the past 5 years. He is such an amazing man. I always teased that he could take a paper clip, a piece of string and a lint ball and make a shelving unit out of it to hold heavy equipment. Vince could fix ANYTHING, using nothing!
A few weeks ago the satellite system went down at our store due to the heavy snow and ice. Vince and I went out on the roof, in the dark, blowing cold---that nibble, agile 70 year old Vince held ME (half his age) up while the blowing winds swept us across the roof ice. We laughed and laughed. What a sight.
Many many times he was helpful to our Security Department. Not just in maintenance, but also in security. He once helped with an arrest of a shop lifter! He was given the Be Vigilant Award for his bravery!
I considered Vince a buddy. I could not have more respect for anyone.
My deepest condolences to his family. May the thoughts and prayers of all of us who knew him and loved him, hold you strong at this time.
