Vincent Pena Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 20, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Vincent Pena, who left this world far too soon at the age of 34 on March 11, 2025. A beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Vincent was an adventurer with a heart as vast as the mountains he loved to explore. His infectious energy, boundless optimism, and warm, unforgettable smile lit up the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on July 18, 1990 and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, he traveled around before settling in Colorado. Vincent thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors whether it was hiking up mountains, snowboarding down them, camping in the wilderness or hammocking in a tree - he embraced every adventure with enthusiasm. His faithful dogs, Luna and Roo, were his constant companions and shared in his journeys, and his love for nature.

Vincent's passion for the outdoors extended beyond recreation, it became his livelihood. He built a career of it by owning and operating an arborist company that he took immense pride in. He was dedicated to preserving and caring for trees, always working with integrity, skill, and a deep respect for the environment. His work reflected his character - strong and purposeful.

Above all, Vincent cherished his family. He deeply valued the love, support and connection he shared with them, always making time to show how much they meant to him. His family was his anchor and greatest joy. He treasured his friends, and he made sure they knew just how much they were appreciated.

Vincent was a genuine, fun-loving guy filled with compassion and generous to a fault. He had a gift for making people feel valued, always offering a helping hand and a kind word. His positivity was contagious and his spirit uplifting.

Though his time with us was far too short, Vincent left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched. His adventurous spirit, his deep love for those around him, and his ever-present smile will be cherished forever.

In honor of Vincent, take a moment to embrace the outdoors, share kindness freely, and live each day with the same passion and joy he did.

Rest easy, Vinny. You will be missed beyond words and forever in our hearts.

Celebration of life is forthcoming.

Thanks for the memories, Vinny! We didn´t always agree but we always hugged when we said goodbye. We loved getting all the dogs together, going on hikes and enjoying Colorado. Rest easy friend, Gimli Mike and I will miss you.
