Funeral services celebrating the life of Vincent “Vinnie” Raduenz, age 18, of Silver Lake were held Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe. Officiating was Rev. Brigit Stevens. The organist was Marie Eischens and the musical selections included “On Eagle’s Wings”, “Amazing Grace” and “You’ve Got A Friend”. Serving as casket bearers were Anthony Raduenz, Tanner Wisner-Lother, Jordan Thompson, Paul Wartman, Clara Hinojosa, Dani Larson and Heather Perry. Visitation was held Friday evening at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel.

Vincent Lawrence Raduenz was born March 23, 1989 in Miami, Florida the son of Richard Raduenz and Sara (Smith) Miller. The family resided in Scottsdale, Arizona before moving to Minnesota. Vinnie attended elementary school at Lino Lakes Elementary and Lakeside Elementary. He went on to Lincoln Junior High and Glencoe Silver Lake High School. Vinnie loved playing soccer from the time he was in kindergarten. He also enjoyed listening to music, working on cars and hanging out with his friends.

On Friday, November 17, 2007, Vinnie entered his eternal rest at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, after suffering complications of epilepsy, at the age of 18 years, 7 months and 22 days.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Delores Camagli and his aunt, Elizabeth Raduenz. Vinnie is survived by his mother Sara Miller (husband: Paul) of Silver Lake; father Richard Raduenz of Florida; brother Anthony Raduenz (fiancé: Amber Labraaten) of Chanhassen; sisters Nicole Raduenz (special friend: Derrick Miller) of St. Paul and Samantha Raduenz of Silver Lake; step-brothers Joseph Miller of California and David Miller of Colorado; grandparents Don Smith (wife: Robie) of Tennessee, Sharon Smith of Arizona and Lawrence Raduenz of Florida; aunts Sheryl Smith of Buffalo, Stacy Coleman (husband: Jerry) of Edina, Rene Weissman of Florida and Donna Camagli of Florida; uncle Russel Raduenz of Florida; nephews Austin Raduenz and Alex Miller; cousins April Force, Patrick Force, Shelby Smith, Matt Coleman, Nicholas Coleman and Jacob Coleman; as well as many other relatives and friends.
