Hanson, Violet Irene Left this world on January 17. Born Aug. 2, 1914 in Mpls. Sang at numerous weddings & funerals in her early years as English and music teacher. Vi was Nurse Station Secretary at Mt. Sinai & the U of M Hospital. Married Ray Hanson 1940. Traveled the US with her Ray. They were constant companions. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond & brother, Walter (Elma) Janstrom. Survived by children, Rae Lynn, Roger (Penny) & Bruce (Michelle); nephew, Tom (Corrine); nieces, Kay, Karen (Michael); grandchildren, Kelley (Darrin), Xan (George), Shanna (Peter), Michelle (David), Matt (Dawn), & Jamie; grand- niece, Erika; grandnephew, Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Beau, Hali, Tia, Ellie, Jeffrey, Brett, Samantha, & Brooklyn. Reviewal Thursday, Jan. 24, 10 am; Service 11 am at Bloomington Baptist Church, 4300 W. 98th St.

I have enjoyed doing Violets nails over the past few years. I loved how excited she would get when I would polish them red and do a little nail art on them. She will be greatly missed by me and the staff at Snips Spa Salon in Bloomington.
