Virginia Gasper Obituary
Mrs. Gasper was born Dec. 23, 1915, in St. Joseph, where she was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker.
She married Harold E. Gasper. He preceded her in death in January of 1996.
Mrs. Gasper also was preceded in death by her parents, John Homer and Estella Eugenia (Panigot) Castle; one brother; and three sisters.
She was a member of First Christian Church and a past president of the Women s Fellowship; member and past president of Chapter J.F. of the P.E.O. Sisterhood; Everett School P.T.A. Pre-School and member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors: two sons, Ronald E. Gasper and Wally Gasper, both of St. Joseph; five grandchildren, Brent Gasper, Bryan Gasper, Angela Gasper, Danielle Gasper and Thomas Gasper; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service: 10 a.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Joseph. Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
The family suggests memorial gifts to a charity of the donor s choice.

Wally and Ronnie,
We are so sorry to read of Peggys passing. She was a dear one. I had just told her that I was looking forward to seeing if the beautiful lillies she gave me last summer will come up. She was always there
to help me on the Congregational Life Com. and always brought cookies
for the Christmas tea. We will miss her.
