What a wonderful woman. Her kindness, graciousness and sense of humor (best smile ever) were gifts to all that knew her. And to Mary,Rob, Alice and John I hope your memories bring peace and comfort.

I first met Virginia shortly after our family moved to Murfreesboro fifty years ago. I was invited to attend Christian Women’s Club. Virginia was the first to greet me. Latter I attended church with her for many years. She was a wonderful warm-hearted woman who had a way of making everyone around her comfortable and was a fun person to be around. I’m sorry I will not be able to attend her Memorial Service but want to express my sympathy to her sweet family. Her gentle presence will be missed by all her knew and loved her.

Truly one of the kindest and sweetest ladies I have encountered in my life. We were all neighbors growing up and later whenever I saw her as an adult she expressed sincere interest in my life and family. A lovely, lovely and faithful person. My condolences to the family. Cecil (Buddy) Elrod III. Thoughts and prayers from the entire Cecil Elrod Jr. family.

I went to church with Virginia at First Presbyterian many years ago, and we were in a prayer/share group together for several years. I always admired her so much as a very generous and caring lady. My husband used to tease me and say that if I ever left him he was going to run off with Virginia! She was definitely one of our favorite people.
She will be missed on earth, but I know her welcome and reward will be great in Heaven.

My grandfather met Virginia when she was a young child. He came home telling my grandmother about the beautiful little girl he had met that day. He said that if they ever had a little girl, that he wanted to name her Virginia. In 1934, my mother was born and named after that lovely little girl.

Virginia was a lovely lady and although I had not seen her in many years, I remember her fondly and feel privileged to have known her. I am so sorry for your loss.
