Durelle Crymes Obituary

Durelle Edward Crymes Jr., 89, of Meherrin, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Durelle was a past master of Prince George Masonic Lodge 115, and a 60-year member of Millwright Local 1402.

He is survived by his wife, Ann M. Crymes; four children, Jennifer Craig and husband, William, Robert Crymes, Janice Sober and husband, Mark, and Durelle Crymes III; 14 grandchildren, Durelle Edison, Christine, Kevin, Sheri, Heather, David, Dean, Katy, Jenna, Terri, Ben, Brittany, Matthew, and Sara; seven great-grandchildren, Dakota, Coytee, Hayden, Jeremy, Zachary, Wyatt, and Olivia; a brother, Joe Crymes and wife, Cathy; a sister, Nancy Hughes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Durelle E. Crymes Sr. and Hazel Savoy Crymes; a sister, Ellen Wilkinson and husband Lloyd; and close friend, Al Troianello.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in the Ledbetter Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Monday, April 1, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Liver Foundation.
