Rívera-Reyes, Waldo Age 48 of Plymouth, originally of San Juan, P.R., passed away August 30, 2009. Waldo loved his children and his wife dearly and fought a very courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his mother, Milagros Reyes-Martínez. He is survived by wife, Heather; children, Jake Petersen, Gabriella, Fiona, and Solana Rívera; sister, Irasema (Carlos) Rívera-Reyes; brothers, Ricardo and Joel Rívera-Reyes; father, Pablo Rívera-Colón; mother-in-law, Sue Matheson; step-father, Fernando Comulada; sisters-in-law, Heidi (Luke) Matheson Wolter, Liz Matheson; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Funeral Service at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Rd 6, Plymouth, at 7PM with visitation starting at 5:30 AT THE CHURCH on Thursday, September 3. Heaven is much brighter today, now that Waldo is there. His life was a gift to so many people. We can all learn from his positive attitude, his courage, his love for family and friends, and his strong faith in God. I will miss him dearly, until we meet again someday!
