Walter Greg Alexander

Walter "Greg" Alexander 67 of Omaha, NE passed away suddenly on July 6th 2022. Born March 10th 1955 in Pittsfield, MA. There, he was educated in the Pittsfield public school systems and later married the former Susan Alexander with whom he raised 6 children. He spent many years working construction then moved on to become an entrepreneur of his own trucking company Nebraska Cargo that he owned and operated until his retirement.

Walter was a man that spoke his mind, worked hard and loved spending time with family and friends. Son, Brother, Father, Uncle, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. His grandchildren will always remember him by Grumpy / Porkchop.

He is predeceased by his Father Walter Alexander, Mother Geraldine and her husband Joseph McBride and sister Audrey Frye.

He leaves behind sisters Regina Daugherty Alexander of Northbrough, MA and Tracy Alexander of Gainesville, FL. Children Walter Alexander and wife Brittany of Omaha, NE, Heather Alexander of Pittsfield, MA, Beau Alexander of Shaftbury, VT, Ebony Alexander- Ramos and husband John of Lenox, MA, Amber Alexander of Omaha, NE, Greg Alexander of North Adams, MA, and Kellie Berkeley of North Adams, MA. Many Nieces, Nephews, cousins and his beloved trucking sons John and Kenny.

To celebrate his life there will be a memorial service held at a later date.
