Andy Williams, 59, passed away September 2, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was born May 2, 1959 in Chattanooga, Tennessee but lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls, Richfield, and Portage Lakes. He was a 1977 graduate of Revere High School and went on to graduate from Ohio State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture.

Andy's gifts were numerous. He was a talented designer who could see the creative potential within an empty space. Many of his unique visions were brought to life through his company, Sundial Landscape Management. He had an innate connection to the earth and through that came his intuitive ability to care for plants. He loved music as much as design. When he played his heart opened and filled the room. Andy knew how to have fun, and was happiest when he was sharing his joy with others and connecting through music and the spaces he created.

Andy was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Williams; his stepfather, William Ward; and loving nephew, Justin Durham.

He is survived by his children, Eliza and Brady Williams; his mother, Evalynne Ward (Jack Fuerst); sisters, Kristi Cremeans, Shanna and Ona Williams; Aunt Imogene (Pat) McClary; cousins, Donna (Buddy) Adams, Diane (Denny) Brock and Allen (Diane) McClary; stepsiblings, Cheryl (Todd) Masden, Jeff (Ellie) Ward and Mike Ward; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 (SR 619), with Katie Osier officiating.
