I knew Wayne from elementary school through high school. He was in my confirmation class at church. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. He was a very nice person and will be missed by friends and family.

Beautiful eyes, the nicest of human beings, my first boyfriend 50 years ago. I was an ignorant child, wish I could have known him later in life. I hope he didn't suffer and passed peacefully. It was too soon for his family to be without him. My heartfelt sympathy to his sister and daughters.

Wayne will be sorely missed by my wife and myself. When we moved to Topton, Wayne became our auto mechanic. He was highly skilled and always exhibited a jovial attitude, despite his handicap. God bless.

So very sorry for your loss. This is a real shock for all of us. And a wake up call that life is way too short. Especially for the good ones like Wayne.He was one of the best. Always true to himself and treated everyone with respect. Condolences to the entire family.

I am sorry for your loss. I immediately stopped reading today's newspaper when I got to the obits. Wayne was a friend in junior and senior high schools. Long ago we were drinking buddies, too. He was also a friend of my late, xhusband. Prayers to you.

I always had a soft spot for Wayne. First as a regular at the restaurant where I earned my keep in college, then as my trusted mechanic who would go to great lengths to make life a little easier. Eventually as a dear friend to Steve and me. We saw him rarely in recent years. But when we did, it was just as it was so many years ago ... genuine, easy ... the friendship of a kind and thoughtful man. God bless, Waymo. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
