On August 19, 2017 WAYNE L. GARRISH; beloved husband of the late Veronica Garrish; loving father of Olivia Brannick (Brendan) and Emily Garrish (Bryan Abel); devoted son of the late Leonard and Gloria Garrish; dear son-in-law of Joan Romeo and the late Richard Romeo.

The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Wayne's life will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11am.

Interment Highview Memorial Gardens.

My wife and I are saddened to hear of Wayne's passing I have not seen him for many years but he was a great person full of happiness and kindness, we lost one of the really great ones. I know that he is with Ronnie, Uncle Leonard and Aunt Gloria camping out with God himself. We pray that God will look after Olivia and Emily and keep them cradled in his arms. You will be so missed Wayne. Thanks for always keeping me laughing even on my worst of days. You've always looked out for me since I was little and now you got a higher place to watch from. I guess I got permanent watch now. In your words ,

I raised my children in the Jaclsonville/Carroll Manor area and was blessed to have Wayne and Ronnie in our lives. From Rec. sports, St. Johns and Maryvale Prep countless hours were spent organizing things for the girls. I have vivid memories of Ronnie sitting in the stands, at Hyde's field, usually working on, or cutting out something while watching Oiliva play softball and Wayne on the sideline being her #1 fan. One year I was coaching and we were having a strong season and Wayne surprised the team with a new (fancy) bat to take us to the playoffs. Just a very, very special man- a very special couple and a beautiful family.
