Wayne Marshall Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 10, 2024.
Wayne Marshall, 69, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on February 9, 2024. He was born on November 21, 1954, in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Wayne was a dedicated employee who retired from Chace Building Supply in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

In his free time, Wayne found joy in diamond painting. He used his retired years to create beautiful canvases, which he lovingly shared with his family. But his greatest happiness came from fishing with his beloved Dachshund, Dazee Mae, who was his loyal fishing buddy.

Wayne will be remembered as a loving husband, survived by his wife Caryl (Juergens) Marshall of Port Saint Lucie, Florida. He leaves behind his children Thomas Marshall and his wife Karen of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, Jennifer Jehu and her husband Tim of Foster, Rhode Island, Terri Watman of Attleboro, Massachusetts, and Neal Watman of Attleboro, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his six brothers, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Also, many nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father Joseph Marshall and stepmother Mary Dolores (Almeida) Marshall of East Falmouth, Massachusetts and his mother Eleanor (Cronin) Lockhart of Attleboro, Massachusetts. He also mourned the loss of his grandson Joseph Amaral of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and his great-nephew Jason O'Brien of Attleboro, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the ALS Association in Wayne's honor. Contributions can be made at https://www.als.org.

Wayne's legacy will live on through his family, his artistic creations, and the memories shared during his fishing adventures. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As I lost touch with my cousin Wayne many years ago I was fortunate enough to meet him once again a few years back. It was so nice talking to him. His face glowed as he went through his pictures of his dog and his paintings.
