Wayne Rogers

Ralph Wayne Rogers, age 60 of Sunbright, TN departed this life on June 20, 2016 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Born on November 29th, 1955 in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late Otis and Louetta Rogers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Louetta Abney Rogers and younger brother, Timothy Dale Rogers. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Glenna Fay Rogers and children, Shannon and his wife Brandy, Chad and his wife Danielle, and Sheena Rogers. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Landon, Brayden, Garrett, and Adeline Rogers; his brother, Gary Rogers and wife Shelby and special uncle, Bill and his wife, Lois Abney. He is also survived by brother and sisters-in-law, Glen Shannon and wife Lovell, Darlene Mosley and husband Keith, Audie Shannon and wife Olivia, and Avery Shannon and wife Amanda, and several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly. Wayne was owner/operator of Wayne's Cycle in Oneida, TN for over 30 years. Most importantly, Wayne was a born-again Christian who loved the Lord dearly and enjoyed attending church at Alive in the Spirit in Jamestown, TN and playing music in his spare time. He also enjoyed playing sports, going to the lake, riding horses, and street bikes as well spending time with family and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral services will follow at 4:00PM with Bro. Dale Cox and Bro. Kevin Bass officiating. Interment will be in the Pea Ridge Cemetery, Sunbright.
