Wayne R. Siebold, age 62 of 1019 Magnolia Avenue, Manitowoc, past away at home, Friday, February 1, 2013, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.

Wayne was born on March 7, 1950 in Manitowoc, son of the late Harvey Siebold and Delores (Christiansen) Siebold Jepsen. Wayne was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1968. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam with the 23rd Infantry Division from 1970-1972 and received the Combat Infantry Mans Badge, the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal and numerous other awards. Upon returning from the service, he worked at Mirro Corporation for a short time and then became employed with Anheuser Busch Company until his retirement in 2010.

On August 6, 1976, Wayne married the former Debra A. Scherer at St. Lukes Church in Two Rivers. One of Wayne's passions in life was his love for the game of bowling. He started bowling at a young age and has bowled in numerous leagues and tournaments throughout the years. His greatest accomplishment was getting inducted in the Manitowoc Bowling Hall of Fame in 2001. Wayne had a high career series of 832 and held a 230 average at one time. He was very proud of the fact that he had bowled four 300 games during his career. Wayne enjoyed fishing, and target shooting with his collection of air and pellet guns. He also was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. Wayne was an easy going fun loving guy and a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was always willing to help out, especially when it came to the game of bowling. We will all miss you. Wayne we know you are having a blast up in heaven bowling up a storm with all your past deceased bowling buddies.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years: Debbie A. Siebold, Manitowoc, four sons and one daughter-in-law: Ryan Siebold, Madison; Curtis (Cassie) Siebold, Manitowoc; Kyle Siebold, Manitowoc; Derek Siebold, Manitowoc; and the Family dog of 15 years: Buffy; his precious grandchildren: Chloe and Caleb Siebold, Manitowoc; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Randy (Mary) Siebold, Whitelaw; Gary Siebold, Manitowoc; one niece: Jennifer Siebold, Whitelaw; one nephew: Eric Siebold, Whitelaw; a special aunt: Evelyn Vorron, Manitowoc; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Richard and Muriel Scherer, Two Rivers. Other relatives, friends, especially his long time bowling team mates of forty years, Dan Wind, Wayne Schermetzler and childhood friends Lee Zeddies and Tom Steinberg also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. Deacon Al Boeldt will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Military grave site honors will be accorded by Otto-Oas VFW Post #659 of Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call Monday, February 4, 2013 at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
