We love you, CoCo! Dee´s & the Beagles! 25/8! We miss you!
9/30/24. Not one day goes by without thinking of you & remembering the joy we had with you! Seems like yesterday that we were all walking around the lake, on the deck & living the dream-being with you!

I knew Corky at Richfield East Junior High. He walked me home from school sometimes even though it was out of his way. I was just thinking of him again today, 60 years later, and sorry to find he's passed away.

Corky and Dee were dear friends of ours and a wonderful couple that loved each other and devoted to each other.. We loved spending time with them, traveled to Pa with them, saw fireworks, went to state fair, renaissance fair, shared many, bbq, colling off in the pool, or relaxing in the hot tub, and each time we were together had a bundle of fun, laughter. Cokey's favorite saying when playing games of any kind, if he was losing is was just game, if he was wining it was good game. Dan continues with that saying when we play games. No matter what job he worked or task he performed Corkey gave 100 % and did it right. We have missed our time with both of them, and also miss seeing Dee when we return home each year. Now we feel MN is to far for us to travel due to health issues. Hoping our friends will come visit us in OHIO. We loved you and our precious time together, missing you...and hoping to see Dee in the future and Corkey in our Heavenly mansion where we will once again spend time together sharing and laughing and worshiping our Lord and Savior.

I love you so much, Spice! Our engagement at the Hard Rock in London was perfect-just as you-Perfect. Your laugh contagious, your humor precious, your ability to recite poems, philosophy, lyrics and speaking Spanish with you was fun, Romero. We traveled, loved our Beagles, enjoyed movies weekly, loved walking around the U of M, reading at the libraries, reading on the deck, porch, Lake, Farm, airports and beaches. We shared what few ever experience-oneness in every way. We were so happy and we had so much more to see and do on our list of travels and marriage. The Beagles miss you-I am so glad you were able to see one of them in the hospital. I know it brought you joy and peace. The Vikes were playing in London and we enjoyed watching that game. You kissed me so passionately that evening and we shared so many memories as we talked. It is hard to believe the next morning you were gone within minutes. I realize now that you were at peace and ready to go to heaven. I have told many your last words of love and it takes my breath away every time I think about how wonderful you were. Those who knew you well knew how happy you were and finally had inner peace and strength in your life
God brought us together-that is ostensible. I know you are with us in spirit and always will be, my wonderful, Corky-Corky Cola, Spice; Or, as my wonderful niece said when she was one -Coe. Britney and Justin and Nicole miss you. Britney cried and cried-her uncle since she was born. Justin said you and I should be on Who Wants to be a Millionaire-Justin said we were so smart! He always smiled when you told your stories-you made our family happy and we were better to have known you. Nicole loved to laugh at your jokes, stories and always said you were such a nice and great guy! You passed the sister test, but, I knew you would. Not all can pass that level of expectations from a sister. You were a shoe in.
My parents loved you and enjoyed all the time we spent with them on the farm, out to eat, shop, threshing shows, long drives, holidays birthdays, or watching a TV show or movie or just talking around the dining room table. Precious memories and happy family memories-they loved you, Corky, as you knew. You passed the parent test as I did with your folks. We had a dream life. I miss you so much. Thank you for being such a great chaperone for my students when we did educational travel to cities out East, Broadway Plays, DC, Boston, Philly etc. -they said you were such a great guy and so smart about history! We were soul mates-I hear you singing Allan Jackson, Beatles, Tracy Byrd, and Beach Boy songs to me all the time-as you used to all the time. I miss your talking all night. I miss your being proud to wear shorts in Hawaii and summers, I miss your confidence and gentle nature and humor. I miss just being us and walking around Target for fun. Heaven is lucky to have such an angel! I miss the love letters and notes you would write in cards or leave on the fridge. You were so wonderful! Every day was special. I miss pool days with you, playing cribbage, shooting pool, riding bike, long walks, tennis, golf, history discussions, your wisdom and just being together or planning our next trip somewhere.
I love you, Spice.

Deanna, we are so sorry for you loss. Hang onto the good memories and let go of all others. Corky will be missed by those that new and loved him, his sense of humor and his great BBQ's, and card playing and socials we shared with you both, also the fun time in the pool on those hot MN days. He was a hard worker and loyal friend. Our love to you and may God help you through this difficult time. Love ya

My dearest uncle Corky! May you rest in peace! So happy you are reunited with grandpa and Uncle Richie and free from the challenges of this world! I'm sure the laughs have already started.
