It is with great sadness that I have lost a great friend/buddy of over 50 years. Wendell and I have gone through many things together and especially the Airborne training that molded us into the men of today. I will miss him so much and hope that during his last days, I was able to bring a bit of joy to his life by being there for him. I pray that GOD will bless the family and also the friends that Wendell touched throughout his life. Hey buddy, "Airborne all the way." Remember how we stood up, checked our equipment, sounded off equipment check, shuffled and stood in the door, and then hit the blast. You will NEVER be forgotten. Love ya, man.
