Wendy Strigo Obituary
A graduate of Eastern Alamance High School in 1986, Wendy pursued her passion for travel and connection by earning a degree in Travel and Tourism from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. Her education reflected a deep curiosity about the world and a desire to help others experience its beauty.
Wendy is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Hannah Groom of the home; her brother, Shan Strigo and his wife Tara of Haw River; their son Amren Strigo and his wife Alex; and her sister Kristi McIntosh and her husband Brian of Elon, along with their daughter Grayson McIntosh. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Duffy "Paw" Strigo and Linda "Gangee" Strigo.
Those who knew Wendy remember her as a bright, talented, funny, and loving soul with a sensitive heart. Her warmth and spontaneity made every moment unforgettable. She touched countless lives simply by being Wendy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the home of Kristi McIntosh, 3155 Saw Mill Road, Elon, North Carolina. Friends are invited to stop by to honor Wendy's life and share fond memories or stories.

May Wendy now rest in the peace she so deeply sought. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved her.

Worked with Wendy at Starbucks for many years. I fondly remember her telling me one day when I was overwhelmed on shift that it was just coffee, no babies were dying. I still think about that frequently in my current work

I knew Wendy since we were little kids!
To Shan and Hannah and the family, I just found out about Wendy´s passing on the evening of the 14th!! I am heartbroken,
Wendy was a good soul! We didn´t see each other much but when we did it was just like we never missed a day!!
She was one of the coolest people on this planet, If you knew Wendy you know exactly what I am talking about!
