You were a great friend to me in college. You helped me open up to people after moving to midland. You helped me realized how much fun ive been missing out with others. You taught me to not be scared to speak my mind. You were always so inspiring to look up to and I hope one day i can be as inspiring as you were.
I hope you really liked the christmas gift i gave you last year. I never toon down the blanket you gave me.
The last time we talked was before your unfortunate departure. We talked about catching up and i said i will see you again later. I know now that wont be for a while but dont worry. I will have lots of stories to tell you. How i fell in love, all the friends i have, also the ending to all the animes we never stopped talking about. Until then.
Sleep peacefully my friend.

Rest in eternal peace, WenTen. I am so sad you are gone from our earthly realm, but I am so comforted knowing you are finally "home!" Your brilliance and intelligence will be greatly missed as will your gentle kindness and respectful mannerism. You were years ahead of people your own age: so wise, witty, and full of good, sound plans. Your sense of humor was, bar-none, the best; so unique. I'm going to miss our conversations so much.
My entire family (Dominguez family) also mourns your loss. They are grateful for having met you. They each wanted to express gratitude for your help with our family's "Don't Mess with Texas/Adopt-a-Highway" group in Big Spring, Texas: "The Family of Philip Guzman, Jr." We lost my beloved nephew Philip over 15 years ago, he was the loving inspiration behind us starting the DMwT group, as you well knew. My nephew, just like you, was taken from us much too soon with so much left to accomplish. He was 19-years-old when he went home to meet his Maker.
Wendy, we at Midland College and Phi Theta Kappa, will NEVER forget you. A scholarship will be implemented soon in your honor as will several other projects in your honor.
As for me, you were one of the first friends I made at MC. I hope I helped and inspired you as much as you did me. You had an older person's soul. You were/are family to me.
Much love and respect, your friend "D"

I listed only a few of your accolades, Wendy, for there were many more. I know you never liked to brag. As you will recall, I always said I would brag for you.
