Wesley Dean Sutton

Wesley Dean Sutton was born Friday, July 6, 1945 in Colcord, Oklahoma to John Wesley and Minnie Ruth Smith Sutton and he died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 11 days.
Mr. Sutton was a Roll Operator in the Steel Industry and was a veteran of the United States Army. He served from March of 1965 until March of 1968, obtaining the rank of Sergeant. He was involved in the Korean and Viet-Nam conflicts as a member of the "Big Red One". He was very proud to have served in that Division. While attending school, Wesley had perfect attendance from first grade until his High School graduation. Another proud accomplishment.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Joyce Blackford and his wife, Patsy Osburn Sutton. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John Wesley and Laronda Sutton of Rocky Ford; daughter and son-in-law January and Johnny Jumper of Tahlequah; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ester and Carl England of Tulsa, Betty and Bob Whitiker of Colcord, Cola Mae Teehee of Colcord and his twin sister, Donna and Don Saltz of Skiatook. He is also survived by 5 special grandchildren, Caleb, Matthew, Jaden, Kayla and Ashlin.
