WILLA LYLES
LIMA — Mrs. Willa Bell Lyles, age 66, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at approximately 2:05 pm. at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 10, 1948 in Lima, Ohio to Eugene and Nonie Bell Cobb Moore, Sr. Both parents preceded her in death.
On March 15, 1969 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Ulysses Lyles, he preceded her in death on September 4, 1990.
Mrs. Lyles was formerly employed by West Ohio Gas and Macy's Department Store. She was a member of Cornerstone Harvest Church where she served in the Alpha & Omega Department and the Creative Coordinators Department.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Roderick J. Lyles of Raleigh, NC. 2 daughters; LaTachia A. Lyles and LaShanda D. Lyles-Burden both of Columbus, OH. 6 grandchildren; Alan M. Burden, Ricky Lyles, Gary Hoffler, Craig Burden, Rashad Lyles and Malikah Lyles. 2 brothers; Eugene Moore Jr. and David L. Moore (Marilyn) both of Lima. 4 sisters; Susan Nathan (Charles), Kattie Butler (Curtis), Linda Nichols (Freddie) and Nonie McDonald all of Lima. A brother-in-law; Floyd Philips of Lima. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister; Annie Phillips and a nephew; Adrian Nichols, Sr.
Home going services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Harvest Church with Pastor Terri Vondereau, officiating.
Visitation/Wake will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
