Chloe Beaudoin
April 29, 2022
I am Nancy's cousin, daughter of Tom Beaudoin. I met this lovely man only a few times but he was so engaging, so cheerful, when I called Nancy one time he yelled out "its Chloe" so happy and he made my day. He was that kind of man, he made one's day. The world is less without him, he will be missed by all.

Always smiling, happy and laughing is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about Bill. In the past he was a dear friend of my mother Terry and best friends with my stepfather Guts. As a kid sitting on the sidelines watching them and the others together was as entertaining as being at a Dean Martin roast, what a group of characters with Bill right there in the front-lines... great memories.
I had an experience yesterday at Pick n Save, actually more of a revelation. Over the years I would bump into Bill in various places in Germantown and we'd stop for a moment and reminisce about the great memories of the past, but these brief conversations would always give way to Bill talking about what was happening with Nancy, the kids, grandkids and Asti which was clearly the focal points of his life.
The way these encounters would usually materialize is he'd see me or I'd see him from a distance and then one or the other would hunt the other down. While at Pick n Save yesterday I saw Bill and as always he was checking the change slots in search of newfound treasures he might find. So, keeping with the tradition I began to approach him but as I did my revelation reared a unpleasant reality... that could not possibly be Bill and the worse part of it is that it will never be Bill ever again, it felt like I just got punched in the face with an awful truth.
Although that may be true, the other reality is Bill will still always appear in all the places I've seen him in the past just like I saw him yesterday. Every time I walk into Pick n Save Bill will be there checking the coin slots and we will continue our talks. Bill has always been a good man, he will be missed by me in this physical world but will not be forgotten.
