William Brady

William J. "Bill" Brady passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, his 87th birthday, surrounded by family. He was born on February 11, 1938, in Jersey City, NJ, and spent many years in Nutley and Clifton, NJ.

On May 22, 1960, Bill married Angela Castellano at St. Mary's Church in Nutley, and they shared 65 years of marriage. He honorably served in the United States Coast Guard until 1966 before embarking on a successful career as a Sales Engineer. His work contributed to the growth of pharmaceutical manufacturing in the New York/New Jersey region.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Angela; his children, Bill Jr. of Wellesley, Massachusetts, Todd of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and Alyse of New York City; and his cherished grandchildren, Caitlin Yazel, Callie Clark, Christopher Brady, Nina Brady, and Colin Brady. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, William Yazel and June Yazel.

Bill valued hard work and commitment, principles he exemplified throughout his life. We all learned these valuable lessons from him and will carry them with us. He also had a passion to fight for what was right and that passion was displayed often. Nothing, however, surpassed his love for his family. We will miss him very much.

A funeral service with Military Honors will be held on February 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Church in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
