William J. "Bill" Evancho, 49, of Hazleton passed away early Thursday morning in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.
He was born in Hazleton, son of Regina (Lalicata) LaBuda, West Hazleton, and the late James Patrick Evancho Sr.
Bill was employed in the construction field and was avid motorcycle rider.
He is survived, in addition to his mother, Regina LaBuda and her husband, Paul, by his stepmother, Lois Evancho; his companion, Kalon Montenaro, Hazleton; his four children, Jesse James, Berwick; Caitlin James, Hazleton; Chayse Evancho, Hazleton; and Willow Cassidy Montenaro, Hazleton; his wife, Betty Evancho, Georgia; and siblings, Ashley Evancho, Georgia; Jaime Evancho, Georgia; James Evancho, Tennessee; Heidi Hulsey, Georgia; and Krissy Green, Coal Twp.; five grandchildren, Sophia, Madison, Giovanni, Elly Mae and Jesse Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc. with COVID-19 restrictions enforced.
