Linda & Molly, My husband and I met with your husband/father and his brother in the late 80's to discuss family history. I was sorry to read about his death, but delighted to learn about his amazing life. A new piece of my family puzzle was put into place while reading about his love of football. My son quarterbacks his private school team here in Ft. Worth and I've always wondered from where THAT ability came! Must be the Gibbons side! God's blessings on you both. Bill and I never knew Dr. Wm. E. Gibbons. However, we've answered his phone calls, talked to his patients, and empathized in emergencies. We've lost a part of our lives...please accept our deepest sympathies. With love, Mr. & Mrs. William E. Gibbons, Richardson

Dearest Molly, Linda and family,
Jim and I will never forget Bill and his love of his old slippers (that belonged to his dad!) and his infectious "hee hee" laugh and wonderful humor. He is a very special person and we know how much he was loved by all that he knew. May you find comfort in knowing that he is in a perfect place and is looking down on you always! Much love, Pat and Jim

Was sorry to read of Dr. Giibbons' death. I did not know him well but I was his replacement on the USS Magoffin in 1952.

Dear Linda & Molly
A Father & Daughter relationship is special! Uncle Bill was special & always found a way to bring comfort to ones in need. I remember when Dr. Gibbons visited Dad about twice a week during his stroke. He was retired by two years, but would go to the nurses station & look at Dad's records to see how he was doing. I can see him now with his blue cardigan & telling me how he was doing. We were all lucky to have him touch our lives.
Love, Margaret, Margo & the entire Bryan Family

Dear Molly and Gibbons family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. We truly enjoyed reading about Uncle Bill's wonderful life. My sustaining memory is of Uncle Bill's loud and endearing laugh, a laugh which unabashedly expressed immense joy while it infected others as well!
May God bless you all with His peace at this time of reflection. May your hearts not be troubled but be full of hope and trust in His ways.
With love, Mamie, Kent and Kace Colwell
