William Joseph �Bill� Halloran was born in Utah on March 28, 1922 and passed away at his home in Del Mar, CA on Friday, June 22, 2007. Bill is survived by his wife, Colleen, and by children William J. �Chip� Halloran, Shannon Halloran Tucker, and Jeffrey C. Halloran. Bill was preceded in death by son Russell Halloran and by daughter Jill B. Halloran. In addition to his children, Bill is survived by grandchildren Kirstie Watts, William Joseph �Chipper� Halloran, Michelle Tucker, Jennifer Halloran, Kaitlin Halloran, Olivia Halloran, and by Caroline Halloran. Bill is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, Zackary and Emily Watts. Bill served our country during WW II as a fighter pilot, stationed in England and flying P51D Mustangs. Bill served from 1942-1944. As a civilian, Bill worked as sales manager for Triangle Rock. After Triangle, Bill became the Sales Manager for Riverside Cement and served in that capacity for several years. About the same time that Bill left Triangle for Riverside, Bill also founded Southern California Soil and Testing. In 1966 Bill purchased Wiley Brothers Transit Mix, becoming the president. The name of the firm eventually was changed to WYROC, Inc. Funeral services for Bill Halloran will be held Friday, June 29, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Del Mar, 12701 Torrey Bluff Dr, San Diego, CA. The services will be held at 12:30pm. Interment will be at El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA, immediately following the services at the church. El Camino Memorial Encinitas, 340 Melrose Ave, Encinitas, CA is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
