HICKEY, William (Bill)
May 7, 1932 – February 21, 2018
It is with great sadness the family of William Hickey announces his passing at the age of 85. He is lovingly remembered by his five children; Glenn and (Conny) Hickey of Onoway, AB, Lorne Hickey of Grande Prairie, AB, Lisa and (Don) Bruce of Carvel, AB, Doris Hickey of Onoway, AB, and Tammy and (Rick) Kennedy of Onoway, AB, his 11 grandchildren: Jered, Katanna, Emily, Kamille, Devyn, Randy, Sarah, Josh, Alyssa, Riley and Brett. Three great-grandchildren; Tavian, Declan and Liam.
He will also be remembered by his brother Art and (Irene) Hickey of Beaumont, AB, brother David and (Diane) Hickey of Onoway, AB, brother Jerry and (Sylvia) Hickey of Edmonton, AB, and sister Mabel and (Frank) Kormos of Onoway, AB.
William was predeceased by his adoring wife Arlene Hickey and his sister Alice (John) Sims.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Parkland Funeral Services, 3502-44th Avenue, Stony Plain, AB. Interment to follow at St. John's Ev Lutheran Church Cemetery, Alberta Beach, AB and a reception will be held at the AGRIPLEX, Alberta Beach, AB.
