William Law Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 14, 2025.
William Raymond Law passed in Amarillo Texas February 24th, 2025. Bill was born in Oak Park, Illinois on May 13th, 1965.

His formative years were spent in Garden Grove and Anaheim California with his parents Bill and Julie Law and his sister Cherie. Bill married Jean Schultz on May 4, 1991 in Sunset Beach California. Bill and Jean had two daughters, Kathryn and Jeanie.

Bill was best known for his likeable personality. He always filled a room with laughter and humor. He was the king of fun and practical jokes. Bill adored his two daughters and the three of them were their own little posse. Always going to concerts together. He was always taking his girls on road trips to see their favorite bands. Las Vegas, Sacramento, Hollywood just to name a few. He was definitely the "cool" dad.

Bill built a successful career in the insulation industry, working as an estimator for Kerco Inc. for over a decade. His dedication and talent earned him numerous awards for top sales performance. In addition to his livelihood as an estimator, he ran a successful BBQ catering business. Along with his outgoing personality and his excellent cooking skills, it was the perfect side gig for him.

Beyond his professional life, Bill embraced adventure and found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, bowling, visiting Knotts Berry Farm and escaping to the mountains. He had a deep appreciation for antiquing, classic hot rods, tattoos, and, of course, BBQing.

Bill will be missed. Deeply so. That smile and his contagious laughter is how we will remember him. Full of joy and fun. A genuinely cool dude.

Bill was the son of one of my very favorite relatives - my first cousins, Bill "Cracker" Law. Fortunately your dad inherited the most important gene the Law family passes down - the "Fun Gene". My memories of Bill and you girls are from John and my visit to your lovely home in Temecula. We were on vacation in California and your Dad invited us to your home so we could reconnect with him and meet his pride and joy - his daughters! He was such a proud father - and rightly so! We were impressed with the great love and care he had for you.

During our visit we were able to connect with Bill´s love of fishing, his penchant for his successful Bar-B-Que business and his great interest in collecting antiques.

We went out to eat and were impressed how Bill knew the area and the people in his town. We truly enjoyed our time with your family!

I´m sorry your dad died so young. I cannot imagine the depth of your sadness. Please know that John and I are thinking of you and we have you in our prayers. I´m thankful you have such beautiful and meaningful memories on which to reflect.

I hope that we can reconnect and hopefully get together sometime. I would love to know what you two are currently doing.

Sending much "Law Love" to you both -

I am devastated that my dad has passed away. He was still young and had so much more life to live. All of my best childhood memories are thanks to him. He was such a loving father. He loved my sister and I so much and always did whatever he could to make us happy. He took us on so many fun trips and made us laugh. He was always there to listen to me and was the first person I went to whenever I needed cheering up. He was not only my dad-he was one of my best friends. His absence is felt so deeply. There is now a permanent sadness that I will always carry now that he is gone.

Very sad to hear of Bills passing. He was one of my best friends in high school and the funniest person I knew. I´m glad to see he had a great life and loved his family beyond measure.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and all those he left behind. He was way too young and too full of life to leave this earth. God bless you Bill! You´ll be missed by all.
