MACKINTOSH, William (Bill) Edward Kelly 1925 - 2003 God saw you getting tired A cure was not to be So he wrapped you in His loving arms And whispered, "Come with Me" You suffered much in silence Your spirit did not bend You faced your pain with courage Until the very end You tried so hard to stay with us Your fight was all in vain God took you to His loving home And freed you from all pain William Edward Kelly Mackintosh passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Jackie and his sons, Gregory, (Sandy); Bradly and daughter Brenda Lee (Michael Juthner); four grandchildren, Carlee, Suzie and Scott Southam; and Kyle Mackintosh; a sister, Myrtle Dannewald; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; as well as special people he considered family, Darlene (Alan) and children, Alisha, Meaghan, Cameille, Syarrah and Benjamin. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Ina; sister, Charlotte Porter; and brothers, Harvey Mackintosh and John Mackintosh. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
