RUTLAND - William T. Ohman III, 59, of Pleasantdale Road, died June 13, 2007, at home after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 24 years, Margaret (Nickerson) Ohman; two sons, Christopher Ohman and his wife, Lisa, of Sandwich, and Matthew Ohman of Rutland; a daughter, Laura Morris and her husband, Joseph, of Harwich; his mother, Marie M. (Cantwell) Del Colle of Keene, N.H.; a sister, Susan M. Herrmann of Keene, N.H.; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was born in New Dorp, N.Y., the son of the late William T. Ohman Jr., and was raised in Chatham. He graduated from Chatham High School and lived in Barre and Hubbardston before moving to Rutland. He worked locally as a finish carpenter.

The funeral for William will be held on Saturday, June 16, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 290 Main St., Rutland. Burial will be private. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 15, in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Anne-Marie Cancer Fund, Inc., PO Box 56, Barre, MA 01005-0056.
