William Bruce Pitzer, 56, passed away April 18, 2005. He was born in Jewell, Iowa on July 12, 1948. He served in the Army and retired from the Phoenix Police Department in January 2000. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Pitzer. He is survived by his wife, Diane, son, Michael, daughter, Lauri Douglass (Jack), brother, Gene (Louise), and mother, Mildred. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 9 AM at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E. Main, Mesa, AZ. The memorial service will follow at 10 AM with interment following the memorial service. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, East Mesa PCU, Bldg., C, 6063 East Arbor Ave., Mesa, AZ 85206, or to Lakeshore Bible Church of God, 6415 S. Lakeshore Dr., Tempe, AZ 85283.
