Much appreciated Prof. William Speidel. He very kindly mediated with the president of Tunghai University to allow me to spend my first year of college there as a "special student." The Tunghai president initially refused but relented. Thanks Dr. Bill Speidel!!

Sorry Coletta. I didn't know about Bill's passing until I saw it today online. Tammy told me he had been pretty sick, but that was the last I heard. Bill was such a nice man. I have a lot a good memories of him from back when I was younger. A solid guy.
