THOMPSON, William Almer (Bill) RETIRED WARRANT OFFICER Peacefully on Sunday January 21, 2018 at the age of 94 years. Beloved husband of Therese Thompson (Lacroix). Loving father of Diane DeCooman (Stephen Brough), Beth Jefferson (Elois Leroux), Denis Roy (Beverly Caron), Debbie Holmes, Leslie Tremblay and Gail Thompson. Devoted grandfather of Alexa, Brooke, Lee-Michael, Cindy, Shawn, Jacob, Billy, Samantha, Tracy, Lori and great-grandfather of Autumn, Harmony, Brandon, Jayden. Special Thanks to Brenda, Jeanine, Ted, Erma, Aston and the rest of the staff from Perley Rideau Veterans on R2S. Born in Lipton Saskatchewan, WWII Veteran, Received Distinguished Flying Cross, 1939-1945. Bill enjoyed gardening, taking long walks and spending time with his grandchildren.
