A special man, friend and Marine. Swore me into the Corps and was always there to listen and offer advise when asked. In my law enforcement career that followed he was a guiding light from the street, SWAT, border and range. In his last months the Major provided words of wisdom to my son who is now days from MCRD.
Major, you will always be an influence in my life. I owe you so much, I will miss you until we see each other on the grinder in the sky. God's speed my dear friend.

I will miss my friend Bill. We met in the 1970's when he was assigned to the Provost Marshal's Office at Camp Pend. I believe I got him interested in the San Diego Sheriff's Department of which I was a member at that time. Bill would accompany us on night raids serving warrants, etc.
I recall the great living quarters he had at the NavyBase in Coronado (BOQ's)
"What a view of San Diego!!"
Later he became active in the Sheriff's Reserve Program. I will miss him PAT !!.
