Willie Nations Obituary
A woman of steadfast faith and devotion, Mrs. Nations was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chaplain James O. Nations, USN; her parents, Theodore Roosevelt "Bill" Thomas and Laura Dee Gilmore Thomas; and her brothers Norman, Ralph, and James.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Wanda Nations, Rebecca Bigbie (Bob), Deborah Parkinson (Will), Jon Nations, and Karol Nations. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Tyler Bigbie (Marnie), Kayla Keckeisen (Kyle), and Erika Aguirre (David); as well as her great-grandchildren: Hunter Aguirre, Connor Keckeisen, Kendall Keckeisen, Isla Aguirre, and Savannah Keckeisen. She also leaves behind one niece and four nephews.
Mrs. Nations' life exemplified unwavering faith and passion for singing hymns and Christmas songs which were a true testament to many who were around her. In honor of her generous spirit, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
May the memory of Mrs. Willie Faye Thomas Nations bring peace and comfort to all who knew and loved her.
