WRIGHT, Willis Richard
Beloved husband of Evelyn Wright, passed away in Cardston, Alberta, on Thursday, December 25, 2014, at the age of 80 years following a courageous battle with cancer. Willis is survived by his wife Evelyn and children: Curtis (Holly) Wright, Carolyn (Kent) Carter, Janice (Randy) Snarr, Julie (Ian) Rabinovitch, Sue (Chad) Stroich; thirteen grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Friends may meet the family on Tuesday, December 30 ONLY from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Legacy Funeral Home in Cardston. The Funeral Service will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Cardston, Alberta, West Stake Centre (Waterton Highway) on Wednesday, December 31 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Cardston Cemetery. The Wright Family, I'm sorry to hear the lost of your husband/father. He all was took time to talk with me at my parents when he visited my parents home VT. I know it was genuine interest in me and I will always remember him for that kindness and friendship. Dear Evelyn and family, We are so sorry to hear that Willis has been called home leaving you for a period of time. I have many memories of him and you Evelyn. I remember lying on the floor in my house on Sunday evenings while the Mens' Chorus rehearsed. I loved those evenings as a child and I remember loving to hear Willis sing solos. He always had a smile and always spoke to me even as a child. You are my good friend Evelyn and we will be praying for you that you may be comforted and blessed in what you need.
