WILMA SUE DANSBY

Wilma Sue (Tigner) Dansby was born February 10, 1926 in Albany, Oklahoma the daughter of Floyd Tigner and Susie Elizabeth (Castleberry) Tigner. She grew up on a farm in Albany and married Euril Lee "Buddy" Dansby on December 24, 1948.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Jerry Don Dansby, two brothers, Floyd Tigner, Jr. and Jack Tigner, a daughter in law, Patricia Ann Dansby and a grandson, Bobby Tootle.

Wilma worked in the Bryan County clerk's office for 27 years with the last six years serving as the County Clerk. She had lived in the Valliant area since 1994. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys and OU. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Valliant where she loved attending Church and her Sunday School Class. She loved her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren very much.

Wilma leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Susan Tootle & husband Raymond of Valliant, OK; a sister, Helen Luscombe of Allen, TX; four grandchildren: Glenda Mazzella & husband Carlo of Onalaska, TX, Chad Dansby & wife Gina of Valliant, OK, Dr. Jason Dansby & wife Amber of Muskogee, OK and Brad Dansby & fiancée Stormy Robberson; thirteen great grandchildren: Traeton Dansby, Abi-K Dansby, Alivia Dansby, Alexis Dansby, Ella Dansby, Luke Dansby, Caroline Dansby, Julianne Dansby, Mackenzie Dansby, Mackalynn Dansby, Mackila Dansby, Misty Robertson and Tony Mazzella along with a host of family and friends.

VISITATION: Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 P. M. on Monday, July 4, 2016 at the funeral home.
